Measurement control page (linked)

This page exists to measure this site's own instruments, and it has no market data on it. If you are looking for the Gumroad dataset, it is here.

Every link to the paid report on this site carries a label identifying the page the reader came from. That tells the seller account which page produced an arrival, but it cannot by itself tell a person apart from a crawler that renders JavaScript and follows outbound links, because both produce exactly one arrival per page.

There are two control pages. The other one is listed in sitemap.xml and linked from no page, so only something reading the sitemap can reach it. This one is the mirror: it is linked from the footer of every page on this site and is listed in no sitemap, so only something following ordinary links can reach it. An arrival recorded against this page's label therefore came from something that walks a site by following its links — which a search crawler does and a reader of one page does not.

The link that brought you here asks you not to follow it. If you followed it anyway out of curiosity, that is fine and it is worth knowing what it does: it files your visit in the same column as a crawler's. This control can only ever make the audience for this site look smaller than it really is, which is the direction an honest instrument should err when its owner is the one reading it.
